Perfectly sealed doors and windows

ME220 EPDM film is ideally suited for properly sealing the lower connections of house and balcony doors. The 1.2 mm thick film is used, for example, to seal buildings along the outside of the building base. It is also suitable for connecting seals that comply with standards DIN 18195-4 or DIN 18195-6. The film can also be used to seal floor windows along the perimeter.

The elastomer track is made from EPDM rubber. It can be elastically deformed under pressure and tensile loads and still return to its original shape. The material is extremely elastic and can withstand high loads without tearing. In addition to these properties, the film is also extremely weather-resistant and can withstand both very low and very high temperatures.

With or without self-adhesive?

ME220 EPDM film is available without adhesive or in a self-adhesive version. The film without adhesive is attached with the help of EPDM OT013 foil adhesive from illbruck or the illbruck EPDM CT113 adhesive. If you want to seal your facade from the outside instead of just the doors and windows, simply use the EPDM film with a thickness of 0.75 mm.
