With their low-interest loans or grants, the KfW (Reconstruction Loan Corporation) promotes the energy-efficient construction of new residential buildings and energy-efficient renovations. The subsidy programme allows you to renovate your home and turn it into an energy-efficient KfW house.
The costs of window or front door replacement can be offset by the KfW with a 10% subsidy or a low-interest loan. The costs of hiring an energy adviser are also subsidised by the KfW which covers 50% up to a maximum of €4,000.
