The plaster sealing strips from the AIR series are specially made for the interior area around windows or doors. They give the internal connection joint a circumferential, airtight seal. No additional grouting of the connection joint is required for this, which significantly simplifies the workload. The space between the interior plaster and the building element is optimally protected against any loss of energy and heat. The strips are compatible with both single and double-layer interior plaster. The red foam tape also has UV protection. A plaster strip from the RAIN series is, however, intended for use in the outdoor area. In conjunction with the system components for the construction element, it ensures all-round, reliable protection against driving rain and moisture, and does not give moisture a chance to penetrate between the window and the plaster. The plaster connection here is designed to be both perpendicular and flush. The plaster strip is also suitable for wet plaster andETIC systems. How does the correct attachment of the plaster sealing strips for windows work?

First, you must determine the required length of the plasterboard. Then cut the strip to the appropriate length. To ensure a clean cut, we recommend using metal shears or bevelling shears. Then simply remove the adhesive tape on the back and stick on the strip. When breaking off the lip, an edge is created that must be flush with the edge of the window sill.

A spirit level helps to align and stick on the plaster strip.

If the plaster strips are attached to the window, the protective strips on the lip can be removed. Finally, attach the protective film, so the window is protected from the subsequent cleaning work.
