During the pane gluing process, the casement frame and glass are joined using a single-component polyurethane adhesive. The frictional connection stiffens the entire window so that the sash does not require steel reinforcement.

The elastic adhesive joint also offers high system stability, as well as increased thermal insulation, soundproofing and break-in protection. This technology has been used successfully in the automotive industry for many years and has also been in use in window construction since 2005.

This pioneering technology, which has been in use since 2009, replaces the steel core in the sash with a high-tech reinforcement made from Ultradur® High Speed uPVC, which is also welded into the corners.

This fusion of materials stabilises the complete frame from all sides. This results in optimal thermal insulation and higher corner strength compared to conventional steel-reinforced windows.

Winkhaus activPilot® is an innovative tilt and turn fitting system that offers leadingstability,security and functionality. There are several different security classes: basic security, basic plus and RH 2 fittings. The RAL quality mark and the fact that they're made in Germany mean that you get solid, high-quality fittings. Special octagonal safety locking pins ensure break-in protection. They are also adjustable so you can regulate the contact pressure quickly and easily.

Since thermal insulation is playing an increasingly important role in windows, you can also equip your new windows with triple glazing. Here you have the choice between the values Ug 0.7 W/m²K or Ug 0.6 W/m²K. You can also combine triple glazing with safety glass and soundproofing. When it comes to plastic windows there are a wide range of decorative film to choose from: decorative film is permanently attached directly during the production of the uPVC profiles. This guarantees long-lasting colourfastness that is insensitive to scratches and fading caused by sunlight.

Not only do you have the choice of classic, wood-look finishes, but also trendy colours such as various grey, pastel and natural tones.
